To check in at the automate machine, you need a reservation code, which isn't provided by Booked.net but by booking hotel directly. If there's no personnel staff there, it will be difficult for you in this case, especially late check-in.
The room was very spaciious and bright
The room was freezing cold and the hot water in the shower did not last very long
Very good location if you come to Bergen by train (only a few minute walk from the station), nice, confortable and clean rooms, A good starting point for exploring Bergen, since everything is at walking distance (the fish market, Bryggen etc). The staff (when they are in) is very helpful... good value for money!
Sometimes it is a littlebit creepy, since you hardly meet anyone in the hotel... there is a certain "big brother" feel... but all in all, nothing serious.
Its near city center, the room size is good. Staff was helpful.
Not so comfy bed and no facilities at the room. Wifi connection weak and family room needs updating.
the price. this city/country is very expensive. the hallways, rooms, toilets were kept very clean however the maid workroom door was often open and scary looking.
a little bit more decorating is needed; maybe a few more ikea prints. the check in computer was broken. not a good first impression. either fix it or take it out.
Close to the railway station. Also handy having a supermarket opposite, esp as the room had cooking facilities.
Great location- only 5 mins walk from central station and 15-20mins to town. We were at Bergen for a night before catching the journey of 'Norway in a nutshell' to Oslo.
No coffee or tea bags or cups provided in the lounge downstairs and the coffee shop only opens at 7 am
The receptionist at the last day of our stay was very friendly, helpful and accommodating:)
The wireless did not work in the hotel room all though the receptionist claimed that there was wifi in all the hotel rooms. The key cards hardly worked and had to be swiped at least 20 times. The common lounge was dirty. The receptionist on the first day of our stay was not particularly friendly.
Staff was very helpful. The location was downtown, which is always a big plus.
The rooms were practical and clean but the hallways no so much. Also the whole building lacks atmosphere and character.
easy going, self checkin and check out
there is no kettle in the room, very inconvenient to go down stairs and just boil some hot water. the paper key does not work some time
The location is good, just 5 min walk from the central bus terminal which is just next to the train station. It's quite easy to find the hotel. Walking to the city centre (the byggen and fish market) takes around 15-20 min. As a budget express hotel, it's worth the price.
The room looks a bit basic, but good enough for short term stay. There is no mirror in the room which is a bit inconvenient.
Rooms were cheap for location and size. Good practicality.
Citybox although basic, was clean with friendly staff. We liked the location as we were across the road from the concert hall and five minutes walk from the railway station and bus station. The little cafe attached to Citybox was really good. Henrik, the sole worker there was very nice indeed and also very efficient. We enjoyed our food!
We had problems with one of the rooms, one of the walls wasn't in great shape and the soap dispenser in the bathroom nearly fell down on first usage attempt but the staff was very friendly and quick to move us to another room.
This was all we could get. The room was dirty check in was impossible due to we do not have pin code as us credit cards do not have them We have traveled all over Asia and Europe and this place has seemed to given up. Our campsite cabin the night before was a million dollars better. Stay away
